This Christmas, I had the chance to visit the thrilling destinations of Tunisia, an experience that left me with unforgettable memories. Tunisia is a part of the outstanding Sahara desert, and the Sahara desert is the largest desert in the world; endless amounts of sand and the scorching sun rush in like the tide. Besides golden desserts stretching out for miles, mountains flood into Tunisia which gives Africa its name of a gorgeous continent.
Our hotel destination was located in Hammet in Tunisia. On the balcony of our hotel, a vast beach stretched for miles around, and was sprinkled with golden sand and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was music to my ears. The food was unimaginable, each bite a taste adventure, taking you through the beauties of Africa.
On early mornings you could see the sun rising into the air. It would shoot up from the ocean, awakening the day to a fresh start. The colors illuminated the sky with exquisite beauty, as the fireball had let out colors of red, orange, yellow, blue, and a little bit of green. On the beach, I would smile while I played in the sea. Pure turquoise waves would come crashing into the shore, with my legs cutting the waves as I stood and laughed collecting sea shells.
The mornings started with an adventure carrying us to magical lands. Covering over 12000 steps per day did take us on a fantastic adventure as we ducked and jumped over brambles. We pierced our way through the trees with leaves hanging from vines. We saw big, hungry, huge camels tear up the grass beneath them. We had a great time walking in Tuinisa.
The 31st night of December was a party organised by the hotel and it was such an experience, with delicious drinks, and music flourishing in the big, luxurious party hall. Belly dancers would tear up the dance floor while the music rushed behind her. The food was just immense with endless plates of food. There was a cherry drink, the best drink I ever had. It was an amazing party.
So, I would like to say this was my best holiday ever, as I spent the day on the golden beach while the waves flooded into the beach.
